Staying Afloat invites Harvard students to reflect on climate justice through original works of art and writing. Its inaugural issue has the theme, “How are Things at Home?”

Students from different backgrounds share the ways that climate change has affected their homes through a variety of media.

In Fall 2023 and Spring 2024, HUEJ members wrote and released public comments discussing relevant issues in environmental policy within the university and at the national level. In Fall 2023, we released our comment about aspects of environmental justice research for President Biden’s Federal EJ research initiative, and in Spring 2024, we released a comment in response to Harvard’s institutional climate plan.
