Fairness for Farmworkers
Fighting for the Rights of Agricultural Workers
During the fall and spring semesters, HUEJ collaborated closely with the Fairness for Farmworkers Coalition to advocate for essential protections and rights for agricultural workers.
We organized a compelling panel discussion at the Food for Thought Festival, where coalition members shared their insights and experiences.
We also hosted a public comment workshop to garner support for the Fairness for Farmworkers Act, which aimed to rectify injustices in the agricultural sector.

HUEJ members lobbied for the bill alongside the Harvard College Democrats, making our voices heard in legislative spaces. We remain dedicated to advocating for farmworkers’ rights and will continue to do so in future semesters.
