Harvard Undergraduates for Environmental Justice
Environmentalism and social justice are inseparable.
HUEJ works to educate and mobilize members of the Harvard and surrounding community to protect the Earth’s resources and ecosystems.
We emphasize the justice in environmental justice, with a particular focus on communities and areas disproportionately affected by environmental issues due to compounding social and historical factors.

The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it.

What We Do
Education
We educate members and the Harvard community on environmental justice (EJ) issues. From hosting informational sessions, to informed speakers, to screening documentaries, there is always more to learn (and more ways to learn) about EJ.
Mobilization
We organize and protest. Join us in making change through policy, activism, and volunteer work. Attend a rally, lobby, or do service work to further EJ efforts in the Cambridge and greater Boston area.
Community
We are a community, and we believe in the power of solidarity and collective organizing. Catch us joining forces with other environmental groups on and off campus to work on projects and host events.
